IDIMAX on Global TV's "MoneyWise" |
|
IDIMAX was recently featured on CanWest Global TV's MoneyWise program about how "smart technology" is being used in
residential, cottage and commercial functions. Dan Scully, co-owner of Regency Care Corporation, which owns and
co-manages 17 long term care homes in Ontario, was interviewed about why he chose to sign up for the IDIMAX service,
highlighting the benefits of the alarm feature that lets him know if water temperatures are in danger of rising above or
below the ideal level. Jeffrey Kischuk, general manager of IDIMAX, demonstrated how easy it is to access information
about what is happening inside buildings, facilities and equipment by simply logging on to the IDIMAX website.

IDIMAX Launches Linux Based Gateway |
|
Improving on its ability to connect and communicate with remote Gateway devices in the field, IDIMAX recently launched a
new version of its application software written for the Linux OS, written in JAVA and utilizing XML to facilitate the
transmittal of configuration parameters for its Gateways.
The IDIMAX gateway now implements an unprecedented level of remote configurability, allowing web site users fine-grained
control over the operation of devices in the field. Users can reconfigure all aspects of the gateway’s connectivity with
their intelligent devices directly from the IDIMAX secure web site. In addition, new versions of the gateway application
are downloaded and installed automatically, keeping the gateways up-to-date without requiring any physical contact.
